For every 1,000 tonne of AHPs recycled:

• 8,700,000 litres (2,289,474 gallons) of water are saved (enough drinking water for 12,000 people for a year)
• 3,400 trees may be saved
• 145,000 cubic metres of natural gas is saved (enough to heat 40 houses for a year)
• 367 tonnes of CO2 is saved (the equivalent of taking 73 cars off the road for a year)
• 3,624 cubic metres of landfill volume is saved
